A legendary figure in modern Greek wine, Yiannis—fondly known as “Kir,” meaning “Sir”—founded Kir‑Yianni in 1997 after stepping away from his family’s landmark company. His visionary viticulture in Naoussa and Amyndeon, pioneering single‑varietal Xinomavro and early white plantings, revitalized the heritage of northern Greek wine regions.

 

TASTING NOTES: Bright, rich pink color with persistent mousse. Aromas burst with wild strawberry, cherry, and tomato, supported by botanical nuances. On the palate, ripe red fruit flavors combine lively acidity and refreshing sweetness, leading to a dynamic, juicy, and balanced finish.
