Italy, (Roero Arneis DOCG) 100% Arneis 13.5%
Paitin, a historic winery in Piedmont, Italy, produces the "Elisa" Arneis from their vineyard in Varinere di Priocca, Roero. This vineyard, planted in 1980, is named in honor of Elisa Elia, a pivotal figure who managed the winery during World War II. The grapes are organically farmed, hand-harvested, and undergo gentle pressing, followed by fermentation and maceration for a couple of days. The wine then rests on the lees for six months to enhance its complexity.
TASTING NOTES: This Arneis presents enticing aromas of apricot, grapefruit, wild herbs, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it is vibrant and nuanced, with a dry, clean finish and a subtle hint of white pepper.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Pairs excellently with light seafood dishes, white meats, or creamy risottos.
PORTUGAL (VINHO VERDE) 50% Loureiro, 40% Fernão Pires, 10% Arinto ABV: 10%
Crafted to capture the joy and connection of long afternoons shared with friends, Patio Pounder embodies the spirit of Portugal’s Vinho Verde region. Grown in sandy, granite-based soils at altitudes between 100–500 meters, the grapes reflect the cool Atlantic influence that defines this northern landscape. Fermented in stainless steel and aged three months on the lees, this vibrant, fruit-forward blend is light, lively, and endlessly drinkable — a wine made for sunshine and conversation.
TASTING NOTES: Pale straw yellow with a hint of green. Fresh aromas of lemon, lime, and green apple mingle with jasmine and a whisper of wet stone. The palate is crisp and refreshing, bursting with bright citrus and ripe peach, balanced by a touch of salinity and a zesty, mineral finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: A perfect match for grilled shrimp, oysters, calamari, and citrus-dressed salads. Also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, fresh feta, or spicy Asian and Mexican dishes. Serve well-chilled for peak patio pleasure.
