Lady Hill Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2020

Washington, (Columbia Valley AVA)
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
14.5%

The subtle wood impact of 10% new and once filled barrels keeps the focus on fruit and spice, while maintaining the characteristic dusty tannins and lingering finish that Cabernet Sauvignon has become famous for.

TASTING NOTES: Intense hues range from wine purple to sangria showcasing Cabernet Sauvignon’s genetic predisposition to tiny berries packed with color making molecules called anthocyanidins. Chocolate covered cherry and subtle blackberry liqueur combine New World fruit flavors with savory olive tapenade, dried herb de provence and a tinge of minerality found in ancient volcanic soils.

FOOD PAIRINGS:  Pair with antipasti, margherita or pepperoni pizza, spaghetti bolognese, and eggplant or chicken parmigiana.

Patricia Green Reserve Pinot Noir, 2021

Oregon, (Willamette Valley AVA)
100% Pinot Noir
13.5%

This winery has always been dedicated to the concept of the highest level quality without necessarily attaching a corresponding price point. Patty and I always wanted to have a winery that made wines that we liked to drink, but more importantly a winery that had wines we would, were we the customer, feel good about paying for.

TASTING NOTES: Brilliant red. Spice-tinged raspberry and cherry aromas are complicated by cola, floral and smoky mineral notes. Sweet and focused on the palate, offering energetic red berry flavors and suggestions of rose pastille and blood orange that build with air. Vibrant and precise in style, delivering solid finishing cut, interwoven tannins and impressive, spicy persistence.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Steak, short ribs, hard cheeses.
