TASTING NOTES: Juicy with fresh cherry and pomegranate notes, this wine rolls across the palate in a ribbon of freshness. There are compelling cedar and cinnamon bark notes on the nose as well as a hint of crushed lavender, layered in its complexity. The finish is silky and flowing. This wine will be as equally delicious tonight as it will be years into the future.

Cantina Cooperativa Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano, founded in 1972, is today formed by 160 members whose vineyards spread over the hills surrounding the village of Scansano, in the province of Grosseto, covering a total of about 600 hectares.
 
TASTING NOTES: Ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of dark cherry and fig with notes of sweet spice, espresso and fresh herbs. Persistent ripe cherry fruit, wild berry, pomegranate, fresh cracked pepper, sage, and ocean brine on the palate, bold, ripe tannins that are balanced by acidity. Finish is slightly smoky with a medium plus finish.
