Domaine Thévenet & Fils, situated in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, is renowned for producing expressive wines that reflect the area's rich terroir. The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge 'Les Clos' is sourced from the lieu-dit Les Clos in the village of Bussières, where south-facing vines at 350 feet elevation thrive in clay-rich soils, benefiting from excellent sun exposure that promotes early ripening. ​

 

TASTING NOTES: This wine presents aromas of black, ripe berries with a hint of rusticity. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, featuring notes of black fruits and a touch of earthiness. Decanting is recommended to fully appreciate its depth and complexity. ​
