Grapes for vīvō are sourced from one of the best and most respected Chardonnay growers in the Carneros region in Napa Valley. The heirloom Burgundian selection was developed over 22 years ago, planted on a gentle hillside on shallow clay soil and an alluvial riverbed.

 

TASTING NOTES: The nose is dominated by intense aromatic and floral driven notes. The palate is a lovely interweaving of stone fruit, expressive minerality confirming its Hyde vineyard pedigree. Broad shouldered yet fine, showing great acidity and richness, dense, expensive, and soft on the palate. The finish is intense and refreshing opulence with a mixed of spice, clove, and delicate citrus blossoms.

 

FOOD PAIRINGS: This Chardonnay pairs excellently with mushrooms, meringue, lemon honey butter, and brioche.
