Sourced from old vines in Paarl this aromatic Chenin Blanc is made using the free-run juice for fermentation, then left on the lees for two months before bottling.

 

TASTING NOTES: On the nose an attractive abundance of ripe pear, quince and spring blossom. The palate is light and fresh with a delicate mouthfeel, crisp citrus and apple flavors linger on a very smooth finish.

 

FOOD PAIRINGS: ​ This wine pairs well with seafood dishes like grilled fish and shrimp scampi, as well as chicken and pork dishes. It also complements salads, spicy foods, and cheeses like brie and gouda, making it a versatile choice for a range of cuisines and occasions. Additionally, its acidity and fruitiness make it suitable for light appetizers, Asian cuisine, and vegetarian dishes.
