40 years ago Familia Torres embarked in an extraordinary and exciting project: the recovery of the ancestral grapes varieties to preserve the Catalan wine-growing heritage in the pre-Phylloxera era. Casals vermouth is the first to incorporate the ancestral variety Selma and use more than 20 botanicals that enhance its Mediterranean essence and aromatic expression.

 

TASTING NOTES: A unique Rojo Vermouth with a Mediterranean profile and a delicate balance between bitter and sweet. Casals is aromatic and complex with intense aromas from Mediterranean botanicals such as orange, tangerine peel, olive leaves, thyme, rosemary, and cinnamon.

 

FOOD PAIRINGS:  a great match for chicken salads, especially with a touch of fruit, and awesome with burrata and peach salad.
