From a warm year, this is simply gorgeous; spicy, complex aromatics and then a sleek and fresh palate with great intensity and stacks of potential lurking beneath its elegant facade. Black cherry, tobacco, spices, and iron-filing characters all give the textured palate enormous nuance and complexity. The finish is long and mouth-watering with fine tannins. Although it is beautifully balanced today, this will surely age well.
