Blancjat’s Glera Frizzante Sur Lie NV is a naturally sparkling wine produced using the ancestral method, with secondary fermentation occurring in the bottle and no filtration. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo gentle pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is bottled with its lees, resulting in a lightly cloudy appearance and a distinctive texture. ​

 

TASTING NOTES: Pale straw yellow and naturally veiled, this wine offers fragrant aromas of rennet apple, pear, and acacia flowers. On the palate, it delivers a silky tanginess with excellent acidity, complemented by notes of lemon drops, sliced pears, guava, elderflower, and crushed stones. The medium-bodied wine has a chalky texture and a touch of saline character, leading to a bright, refreshing finish. ​

 

FOOD PAIRINGS: This versatile frizzante pairs well with a variety of dishes, including fish, white meats, pizza, and appetizers. Its fine bubbles and complexity also make it an excellent companion to lighter fare and can be enjoyed throughout a meal.
