Purple Hands Winery, established in 2005, is dedicated to crafting authentic Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that express the unique terroir of the region. The 2022 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir is sourced from the esteemed Shea Vineyard, known for producing some of Oregon's most coveted fruit. This vineyard, planted in 1989, is situated on sedimentary soils atop fractured sandstone derived from an ancient seabed.

TASTING NOTES: This elegant and lifted expression of the Shea Vineyard offers bright acidity, fine tannins, and a more linear feel. As it opens, it starts to show its broader shoulders, with deeper notes emerging. Aromas include lavender, cardamom, mulberry, blueberry, blackberry, spiced rum, cola, and wet stone.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Pairs well with roasted poultry, grilled salmon, mushroom-based dishes, and medium-aged cheeses.
