Poliziano selected a number of vineyards with particular characteristics in order to obtain a wine that is young, fruity, full-bodied, but not hard; a selection that has allowed the winery to classify the Rosso di Montepulciano as the "Second Wine" of Poliziano.

 

TASTING NOTES: Youthful, brambly nose with lots of cherries, strawberries, dried herbs and potpourri," and describing it as "crunchy and laid-back on the palate with a pristine, firm finish."

 

FOOD PAIRINGS: Lamb chops, roast chicken, stuffed bell peppers, and grilled mushrooms.
