Niepoort's 2021 "Twisted" Tinto is a vibrant red blend from the Cima Corgo subregion of the Douro Valley. Crafted from a mix of indigenous Portuguese grape varieties, this wine is fermented in stainless steel and partially aged in used French oak barrels, resulting in a fresh and approachable expression of the Douro terroir.
TASTING NOTES: This wine exhibits a vivid ruby color and offers aromas of fresh red fruits, balsamic notes, and subtle floral hints. On the palate, it is light and elegant, with smooth yet persistent tannins and a pleasant acidity, making it easy to drink and enjoy.
