Tenuta Ponte is located in Campania region, in the South of Italy and consists of 35 hectares of vineyards. Brothers Alessandro, Nicola and Modestino Di Stasio, along with Pepe and Antonio Giusto own and run the estate. The soils are well exposed and characterized by a temperate climate and Mediterranean, with the right amount of moisture supplied not only by spring and winter rains, but also by the presence of the river Calore. All these elements, in accordance with the nature of the soil (mainly calcareous clay), provide the right conditions for the production of grapes and wines.
TASTING NOTES: Warm Meyer lemon, blood orange zest, sweet plantain and citrus blossom palate. Fantastic weight and minerality - lush mouthfeel, but with well defined edges.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Pairs well with shellfish. Falanghina is also a good match with scallops, prawns, or clams. You can try seasoning your dish with lemon, garlic, and parsley.
