Jeremie Huchet is the next in line to carry on the family legacy started 4 generations ago. This transition happened in 2001 and his first step of action was acquiring more top tier vineyards plots around Nantes and converting them all to organic. The dedication of capturing the coastal influence of the Atlantic and showcasing that Muscadet can be everything from Parisian cafe wine to serious vibrant and elegant wine. To do this, everything comes down to the work in the vines. Jeremie is known for the amount of time he spends walking the parcels, having eyes on his vines to understand and highlight growth year after year. The cellar is full of concrete, both glass-lined buried in the earth and eggs for a natural sur-lie movement.
TASTING NOTES: Pale yellow color with light greenish reflections. Its nose has a great intensity showing white flowers (acacia) notes and some pear as well. Its mouth is mineral, saline and crispy with a sparkle, developing citrus notes before rounding itself off.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Grown at the mouth of the Loire, this wine is the traditional French accompaniment to Atlantic oysters and other seafood. Light in body, lean in presence, taut in energy, and vibrant in acidity, it is the perfect accompaniment for fish and bivalves.
