Château de Gaudou is a historic winery located in the Cahors AOC of Southwest France, a region famous for its bold, tannic Malbec wines—known locally as "Côt" or "Auxerrois." The estate has been producing wine for several centuries and is recognized for crafting age-worthy, complex, and terroir-driven Malbecs.

 

TASTING NOTES:  Opaque black-red hue, with meaty notes of stewed black fruits complemented by dusty earth undertones. The palate is richly textured with layers of blackberry, red and black licorice, and an iron-rich weightiness.
