Pesquie "Le Paradou" Cinsault, 2021
France, (Vin de France)
100% Cinsault
13.5%
* Sustainably Farmed
Cinsault rarely gets its due. It certainly makes delightful rosé wines and it is essential in southern French red blends where it brings a lightness and grace to these hearty wines. Seldom do you see Cinsault on its own as red wine. Fred and Alex Chaudière love Cinsault as much as we do, not only for its freshness and forthright red fruit flavors but for its more moderate alcohol level.
TASTING NOTES: A nose of fresh red fruits with aromas of raspberries and redcurrants. The palate is supple, refreshing, and balanced, revealing delicious notes of red fruits (cherry) and flowers (rose, white flowers), slightly spiced, with great drinkability!
FOOD PAIRINGS: Pairs easily with many simple and light dishes: summer salads, charcuterie, pizza, grilled white meats, spaghetti Bolognese, etc.
