Pelassa "San Vito" Roero Arneis, 2020
Italy, (Piedmont DOCG)
100% Arneis
13.5%
The Pelassa Winery was founded in the Roero region in 1960. Here Mario Pelassa, together with his wife Maria Teresa Viglione, founded the family business, passing their knowledge onto the next generation.Today, Davide and Daniele have transformed it into a modern business, which has long competed on the national and international market.
TASTING NOTES: On the palate it is dry and harmonious. It has a pleasing acidity which gives freshness and persistence. It has a particular, natural minerality, typical for Arneis from Montà d’Alba. Due to its complexity Roero Arneis has often been described as a White Barolo.
FOOD PAIRINGS: This is a wine which can realistically accompany any meal. It is excellent as an aperitif, or with “hors d’oeuvres” and fish.
