Portugal, (Douro DOC)
Traditional Douro Varieties
ABV: 19.5%
Crafted by the historic Kopke estate, founded in 1638 and recognized as the oldest Port house, this Fine White Port is made from hand-harvested traditional Douro grapes, fermented cool and fortified at the ideal moment to preserve freshness and balance. A blend of wines aged at least three years in stainless steel and wood, it shows the lifted aromatics, silky texture, and harmonious sweetness that define classic white Port. Its green-gold hue hints at the vibrant citrus character within, while gentle richness and velvety smoothness create a beautifully approachable style.
TASTING NOTES: Greenish-yellow in color with fragrant aromas of citrus, white flowers, and light stone fruit. The palate is smooth, softly sweet, and velvety, balanced by fresh acidity and a clean, lingering finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Serve chilled (8–10°C). Excellent with tropical fruit desserts, citrus tarts, salted nuts, fresh cheeses, or as the base of a White Port & Tonic. Perfect as an aperitif or after-dinner pour.
