Dotted by steep slope vineyards, the Geierslay winery is located on the banks of Mosel, beautified by a big rock. Making rich-quality wines for 19 generations, the Kilburg family is one of the oldest winemaking families – practicing viticulture for over 750 years.

TASTING NOTES: Geierslay's Vertigo Riesling Feinherb is beautifully aromatic with gorgeous aromas of stone fruits leaping from the glass. This is a fun and energetic wine. The palate is awash with flavors of white peach and apricot infused with a light citrus zest. The slight off-dry flavors are balanced perfectly with a zippy acidity that will get you going right back for another sip. This is an ideal wine to start the evening... Great as an aperitif, but also will work well with hors d'oeuvres.

 

FOOD PAIRINGS: Baked and grilled chicken, turkey, mild cheese and desserts and is one of the few wines that go well with chocolate.
